About The Session:
The Art of Breaking (AOB) classes run in 8 week sessions consecutively throughout the year (September to June). Within each 8 week session students have 4 registration options which are 8 weeks, 6 weeks, 4 class dance pack (to be used over the current 8 week session) and 1 class weekly (pay as you go).
About Registration:
All new students, parent/guardian will fill out a registration/waiver form which will be valid for the dance year. Payments for chosen packages are due at the beginning of each new 8 week session.
About Refunds:
There are NO make up classes or refunds for missed classes. A $20.00 cancellation fee applies to refunds issued before the first day of class. After a session has begun there will be No refunds. A credit will be given towards a future registered dance package.
About Class Cancelations:
If any class is to be canceled, notification will be given through the website, email and text messaging. The next scheduled class will be a 2 hour session. Students who can not addend or participate in the extra hour make up class will be given a deduction of that unattended class from their package price for the NEXT 8 week session.
Due to holidays and facility schedules there will be at various times 2 hour scheduled classes throughout the dance year. This is to keep the AOB classes on an 8 week consecutive calendar schedule. New 8 week session schedules for your location will be posted on-line along with an email notification 2 weeks prior to new sessions.
About Workshops:
Throughout the dance year, a guest teacher is brought in to teach an additional 1.5 to 2 hour workshop at the end of an 8 week session (total class time 2.5 to 3 hours). There will be extra costs involved which is TBA when the instructor is booked. These workshops are NOT mandatory but are highly recommended because students will benefit by expending their street dance vocabulary on what has already been learned as well as having the opportunity to learn new street dances or disciplines.
Class Sizes and Age groups (6yrs – 12yrs, 13yrs – 17yrs, 18yrs +):
Maximum students per class depends on your registered location. Ajax 12, Vaughan 15, Toronto 10.
Minimun students to run a class is 4
Note: There will be one class for all age groups. Additional class times will be added when there is enough registered students per groups.
